"Prior to ordering our Lumenarc Mini's from PGS, we were using four Spiderlight reflectors over our 180 gallon reef aquarium. We noticed that we were losing a lot of light out of the back of the canopy and getting a lot less light directed down into the tank from the Spiderlight reflectors. After making the switch to Lumenarc Mini's, we noticed an immediate difference. Overall the tank is much brighter then it was with the Spiderlight reflectors. There used to be a lot more dark spots, especially around the center brace and back by the corner overflows; those are gone now. There is also almost no light escaping anymore. The Spiderlights used to illuminate the entire wall behind the tank and that is pretty much gone now. Very impressive reflectors, we like them a lot.
