"Prior to ordering our Lumenarc Mini's from PGS, we were using four Spiderlight reflectors over our 180 gallon reef aquarium.
We noticed that we were losing a lot of light out of the back of the canopy and getting a lot less light directed down into the tank from the Spiderlight reflectors.
After making the switch to Lumenarc Mini's, we noticed an immediate difference.
Overall the tank is much brighter then it was with the Spiderlight reflectors.
There used to be a lot more dark spots, especially around the center brace and back by the corner overflows; those are gone now.
There is also almost no light escaping anymore.
The Spiderlights used to illuminate the entire wall behind the tank and that is pretty much gone now.
Very impressive reflectors, we like them a lot. Thanks PGS for all of your help and excellent customer service.
We have continued to recommend you to other hobbyists and look forward to doing business with you again."

"Before I got the Lumenarc III reflectors I used more lights.
With these reflectors you use less lights because the coverage area is much greater and just as intense as a spider or pendant reflector.
This leads to a cheaper electric bill which I enjoy very much. I have been using these for 4 years and won't use any other type of reflector."
Thanks,
Steve aka Bigred
"I switched from Spider Light reflectors to Lumenarcs and the difference was amazing.
I actually cut back the number of halides from 3 to 2 when I made the switch and my corals maintained their fantastic growth.
The Lumenarcs produced a more even and wider spread of light than any other reflector I ever used."

I just got a couple of LA3's. They are awesome. I percieve at least a 20% increase in output vs my spider reflectors I was using. I opted for the air cooled option to try to cool down the tank room. Here are comparitive tank shots.

If you are still unconvinced these are the best reflectors on the market, and are worth the few extra dollars,
